 Trauma to the brain and spinal cord occurs with all too much frequency in children. In fact, it is the number one cause of morbidity and mortality in young children. Our Neurosurgeons work with Orlando Regional Medical Center and Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in a Level l facility designed especially for victims of trauma. We also have treated many children suffering from non-accidental injury or abuse. We strongly support SAFEKIDS (www.safekids.org or www.safekids.com) accident prevention organization. |
